John Kelley on True Grit
Imagine being newly married, strapped with school debt, just having moved to a new town where you know less than five people.
This week’s guest on the True Grit podcast is Dr. John Kelley, owner and founder of Kelley Orthodontics. Dr. Kelley attended Baylor University and received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. He and his wife Allision moved to Fort Worth in 1999 and founded Live Thankfully which is a not-for-profit that’s had a huge impact on our local community.
Dr. Kelley grew up in Houston and San Antonio from birth through high school. After four years of college, he spent a year working in DC before going to dental school and orthodontic residency. He has been on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Teams at Cook Childrens’s Hospital since 1999. Dr. Kelley also enjoy helping patients through Gill Children’s services, one of the best organizations in the country.
