Huntington partners with families to help students build academic skills and confidence. Struggles with core skills make school a chore! Tough classes and big tests challenge and overwhelm students. Learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD demand supplemental help.
As an accredited provider with 42 years experience, we evaluate each student and recommend an individualized program to meet specific goals. Then, we meet regularly with families to report progress and even visit the student’s school (with your permission) to better support each student. We only hire degreed and certified teachers / experienced tutors to work with students, often in a 1:1 ratio.
We help students of all ages with math, reading and writing skills as well as phonics and spelling help for younger students, often designing programs to target weaker skills as revealed by STAAR, ERB and other standardized tests. Others are preparing for an exam (ACT, SAT, PSAT, ISEE, ASVAB, TSI, etc.) or need a test proctored. Many just need help with a particular subject or assignment, like writing a college essay. Each student is unique.
