March’s Fun in the Fort Comes in Like a Lion

The recent Snowpocalypse was one for the books, and I am sending y’all a virtual high five for bravely battling the awful cold that affected Texas. No more of that, please? TRWD Flyfest ot the Trinity River
March 13, 2021 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Join Tarrant Regional Water District’s (TRWD) for a celebration of urban fishing on the Trinity River! Whether you are an experienced angler or never touched a fly rod, this fun and free day in and along the Trinity River has something to hook everyone in the whole family. To create an optimal angling experience, TRWD will release 1,800 lbs. of Rainbow Trout in addition to the nearly 3,000 Texas native fish stocked annually. Mozart and Beethoven at Will Rodgers Memorial Center

Robert Spano returns to conduct the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra! Widely recognized as one of the greatest masterpieces in the concerto genre, pianist Jeremy Denk will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 25. The concert will also feature Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. Gretta Hendricks is a multidisciplinary creative who has been a chocolatier, baker, birth-doula, performance artist, and freelance writer, although her favorite job to-date has been becoming a first-time mama to her beautiful rainbow baby, Ofelia, born in January of 2020. Gretta has enjoyed writing for as long as she can remember and is passionately interested in the ways she can both learn and share from the art of storytelling.
