A Spectacular Reaction!
The 2023 Mad Scientist Ball, held on September 29, 2023, proved to be a mesmerizing chemistry experiment of celebration, innovation, and community support. Chaired by the dynamic duo, Nissa and Ryan Harrington, this year’s event surpassed all expectations, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated donors, sponsors, and supporters who created the perfect catalyst for its success.
We wish to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who joined us in honoring the mission of The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and to our generous patrons whose unwavering support acted as a binding agent for our endeavors.
Our deepest appreciation goes out to the remarkable donors who not only met but exceeded our fundraising goals, enabling us to create extraordinary educational experiences for our guests. As the largest Mad Scientist Ball in the Museum’s history, the 2023 event emerged as a reaction of immense success.
With the resources garnered, the Museum is poised to offer enriching programs to students and families, craft innovative exhibits to catalyze the imagination of our guests, and continue the spread of science and history throughout the Fort Worth community and beyond.
The evening commenced with a tantalizing taste of Fort Worth, showcasing culinary delights from outstanding local restaurants: Bob’s Steak and Chop House Fort Worth, Blue Bell Creameries, Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream Fort Worth, DeLucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine, Enchiladas Ole, Fitzgerald, Galligaskins & Fort Worth Catering, Heim Barbecue, Magdalena’s Catering and Events, Prince Lebanese Grill, Reata Restaurant, and Taco Heads. Mentalist Anthony Dempsey and musician Andrew Sullivan wove magic throughout the entire event. Lockheed Martin’s flight simulator provided a thrilling adventure akin to molecular collisions followed by an engaging silent and live auction hosted by Davis Auctioneers.
