Calling All High School Filmmakers!
Lights, camera, action!

Registration is OPEN for high school students eager to dive into the electrifying world of filmmaking! Whether you dream of writing gripping scripts, directing powerful scenes, acting in front of the camera, or mastering the art of editing and cinematography, this hands-on experience is for you.
In 10 immersive days, you’ll write, produce, edit, and collaborate on a short film—which will premiere on the big screen at the 2025 Lone Star Film Festival! There are two sessions available. Session One begins on Monday, July 7, and Session Two begins on Monday, July 21. Again, each sessions runs for 10 days. A limited number of scholarships are available, too.
