Fort Worth Museum of Science and History Welcomes Peter Claffey
After a meticulous search, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History proudly welcomes Peter Claffey as the newest addition to the leadership team, assuming the role of Vice President of Operations. Peter brings nearly two decades of experience working in and leading science and children’s museums across the country, and has overseen every aspect of museum management – from daily logistics and staff leadership to long-term strategic planning and visitor experience design.
“We are delighted that Peter will be joining us,” said museum President, Regina Faden, Ph.D. “He brings with him extensive experience in leadership and innovative thinking that will help the Museum reach the next level of our overall Guest experience.”
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Science in Fire Science and Administration, a combination that reflects both his strategic mindset and ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, two qualities that are essential to the success of this role in a dynamic museum environment.
Peter will oversee the Operations of the Museum, which includes Guest Services, Security, and Facilities, where his strong sense of operational focus and hands-on approach to both management and guest engagement will be vital tools for his new chapter at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The Museum is excited to extend a warm welcome to Peter Claffey as part of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History team.
