With a distinguished career in destination marketing and strategic brand development, Foster brings a wealth of experience back to Texas to advance Fort Worth’s success as a premier destination.
Foster joins Visit Fort Worth from Visit Greater Palm Springs, where she served as director of Palm Springs Tourism. In this role, she led domestic and international marketing strategies, managed communications and advertising and developed high-profile brand partnerships with organizations such as Mattel/Barbie, Louis Vuitton and the James Beard Foundation. Before Palm Springs, she served as director of Marketing and Communications for the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she oversaw advertising and played a pivotal role in rebranding efforts and strategic partnerships across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
“Kimber’s deep expertise in destination marketing and strategic communications, combined with her passion for Texas tourism, will be instrumental in elevating Fort Worth’s profile on a national and international stage,” said Bob Jameson, President and CEO of Visit Fort Worth. “We are excited for her leadership as we continue to share the story of our vibrant and unexpected city.”
Visit Fort Worth’s marketing priorities include promoting the city for the World Cup in 2026, marketing the renovation and expansion of the Convention Center and elevating awareness of world-class attractions such as the Stockyards and Cultural District.
Foster’s career includes leadership roles at Destination El Paso and the City of El Paso’s Museums & Cultural Affairs Department. Her extensive background in marketing strategy, public relations and advertising will help amplify Visit Fort Worth’s mission of promoting the city for leisure, meetings, sports and events.
“I am beyond honored to join the incredibly talented team at Visit Fort Worth,” said Foster. “I’m particularly excited about returning to my home state and contributing to the creation of memorable brand marketing for a destination that is truly one of the most dynamic and renowned cities, not only in Texas, but in the world.”
