Registration Open for the Third Annual Race on Race Street
Registration is open for the third annual Race on Race Street, sponsored by Rebuild Texas, scheduled on Oct. 12, 2024.
The event, hosted by PT Fitness, is not only a fun run, but also a chance to explore the vibrant community that Race Street has become. Most importantly, it serves as a platform to raise awareness and funds for several local charities, including Alliance For Children, PanCAN, Cook Children’s, and Hope Farm.
The 2023 Race on Race Street, which surpassed participation numbers from the inaugural event, attracted runners from as far away as Boston and Austria. Furthermore, engagement and outreach touched more than 28,000 individuals and we expect even more success this year.
Event highlights include:
- A 1 Mile Fun Run: Ignite a love for active living in kids and families. Our 1 Mile Fun Run is designed to make fitness enjoyable while combating childhood obesity and nurturing lifelong health habits.
- 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Discover a different side of Fort Worth with our race. Starting on Race Street, the course takes you onto the scenic Trinity Trails at Belknap, traveling southeast across the picturesque low river crossing towards Top Golf. This route showcases both the natural beauty and urban charm of Fort Worth, offering runners an unforgettable experience.
- Vendor Alley: A hub of excitement where you can explore our fantastic sponsors, learn more about the charities we support, and engage with various vendors. Don’t miss the chance to get creative and contribute to our collaborative picture canvas — a symbol of unity and community spirit.
- Local Attractions: Take a leisurely stroll through the charming boutiques stores along Race Street. This is the perfect cool-down for friends and family to relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Race Street.
The Race on Race Street is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of health, camaraderie, and community. It’s an opportunity for us all to come together, make a positive impact, and support those in need.
