Spring Has Sprung in the Botanic Garden!

Guests can enjoy more than breathtaking blooms this spring at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden! With three new exhibits and more than 200,000 tulips, daffodils and other flowering bulbs bursting into color, this season is bigger and better than ever!

• Bloom Watch ’24 –Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and roses are just a few of the fantastic florals that guests will experience as they stroll through the Garden during spring. Each week, a different layer of the Garden unfolds to display the many plants and flowers that come to life during Texas’ most anticipated and fleeting season.
• Dinosaurs Around the World – See Dinosaurs Around the World, and take a Jurassic journey through the Garden, now through May 30. Created in collaboration with a world-renowned dinosaur paleontologist, this outdoor exhibit features 11 lifelike, advanced animatronic dinosaurs from every continent, a multi-layered narrative, and cutting-edge information for visitors to explore. Don’t wait—see the dinosaurs before they’re extinct!
• Butterflies in the Garden – Leave your passport at home and come to the Garden to experience some of the planet’s most beautiful pollinators all in one convenient place. Butterflies in the Garden, presented by Central Market, takes flight, March 1 through April 14, in the Rainforest Conservatory. One of the Garden’s most anticipated seasonal exhibits, guests will enjoy thousands of breathtaking native and exotic butterflies from around the world as they flutter through the lush foliage and tropical flowers in the conservatory. Don’t miss out on this rare display of butterfly beauty!
• Seward Johnson Sculptures in the Garden – Twenty-one realistic sculptures by the late artist Seward Johnson are on display at the Garden through Sept. 1. This head-turning exhibit of “living” art will take Garden guests by surprise as they encounter sculptures that fool the eye and beg for double takes. Strategically placed to blend with their surroundings, Johnson’s unique creations make ordinary occurrences extraordinary and bring classic art to life. Experience the joy of discovering these lifelike sculptures placed unexpectedly, yet harmoniously in the Garden’s landscape.
• Picnic Packages – Spring is the perfect time to toss a blanket across the lawn and enjoy the sunshine and ideal temps. Pack a picnic or order ahead online (at least 24 hours before your visit) and pick up a delicious basket of goodies at Rock Springs Café located in the Garden. Those wanting to cool off inside can stop by for lunch or a snack at the café from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The Garden is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last tickets sold at 5 p.m. Online general admission prices are $12 for adults (16-64), $10 for seniors (65+), $6 for children (6-15), and ages 5 and under are free.
