TAFB Continues to Bring Happy Healthy Holidays

Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) continues a much-needed Happy Healthy Holiday season with Mega Mobile Market events scheduled until Christmas Eve, including the first-ever holiday mega mobile event in Denton.

Tarrant Area Food Bank provided over 2m+ lbs. of food last year, which is significant but still not enough to meet the needs of over 96,000 food-insecure persons in the Denton County service areas.  TAFB has proudly provided food and services to Denton for over 40 years.  Because Denton is a fast-growing community, Denton County will be a top priority in 2023 for the food bank.

Holiday Mobile events include:

• Wednesday, December 14^th in partnership with Harvesting in Mansfield, at the Mansfield ISD Performing Arts Center, 1110 West Debbie Lane, Mansfield 76063 from 6:30-8:30p

• Monday, December 19^th at Herman Clark Memorial Stadium, 5201 CA Roberson Blvd, Fort Worth 76119 from 10a-Noon

• Tuesday, December 20^th in partnership with the University of North Texas, Serve Denton Community Food Center and the Denton Hunger Coalition, TAFB will host the Mega Mobile at the UNT Parking Lot 20 (old Fouts Field Parking Lot), 700 North Texas Blvd, from 10a-Noon
• Thursday, December 22^nd, TAFB West Holiday Mobile Event at Weatherford High School, 2121 Bethel Road, Weatherford 76087 from 5:30-7:30pm

Mega Mobile Markets are designed to serve all residents in Tarrant Area Food Bank’s service area who need food assistance. No identification or documentation is required. All are welcome to receive food at these Happy Healthy Holiday markets.
