Texas Women for the Arts Opens Grant Applications
Texas Women for the Arts (TWA), a statewide giving circle and program of the arts advocacy nonprofit Texas Cultural Trust (TXCT), opened applications for its FY26 grant cycle, inviting arts education organizations across Texas to apply for funding.
Powered by a dynamic network of over 200 philanthropists, community leaders, and arts advocates, TWA is dedicated to awakening and nurturing the artist in every Texas child. The group raises funds and awards grants to select arts organizations making a meaningful impact in communities across the state. Celebrating 20 years of service in 2025, TWA has awarded over 400 grants totaling more than $4.7 million, reaching over 3.7 million children across Texas.
Earlier this year, TWA awarded more than $320,000 in grants, investing in community organizations, museums, festivals, after-school programs, summer camps, and more that deliver programming for Texas children across artistic disciplines like music, visual arts, performing arts, dance, creative writing, and theater. Since its founding in 2005, TWA has remained a powerful philanthropic force of women, working to advance arts education statewide.
Each year, grants are awarded in the spring following a rigorous review process by TWA members. The 2025 – 2026 grant cycle is open from October 1st through December 1st, 2025.
