Walk to Blast Away Childhood Cancer
Cook Children’s 19th annual Blast aims to eradicate childhood cancer.

The Blast is Cook Children’s annual family-friendly walk raises funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research, treatments, and clinical trials. Visuals will include families and community supporters walking along the Trinity River lined with tribute signs that honor, celebrate and remember patients. The signs notate whether patients are a Fighter (in treatment), Survivor (in remission) or a Butterfly (walking in honor of patient’s memory).
