Back by Popular Demand! Central Market Hosts Second Wine & Cheese Tasting!

After the huge response from customers at the November virtual wine and cheese tasting event, Central Market is offering a second virtual tasting class this December to experience some of our new favorite wines and cheeses of the holiday season.

WHAT: Explore the art of pairing wine and cheeses in this live, online class taught by Will Whitlow, Central Market’s deli/cheese buyer and Keith Janosik, Central Market’s beer/wine buyer. These Central Market experts will introduce participants to a few of their favorites and discuss how these outstanding wines and cheeses are produced and how they can enhance any holiday celebration this year. Three cheeses will be sampled including Sweet Grass Dairy Green Hill, Mitica Cabra Al Gofio and Busti Formaggi Pecorino Di Remo A Latte Crudo along with three wines including Paula Kornell California Brut, Marchesi Incisa Futurosa Piemonte Rosato and Martin Ray Pinot Noir.

The cost is $80 per household and includes virtual class access and an ingredient kit, which is available for pick up at three Metroplex store locations.

The ingredient kit includes: three cheeses, three bottles of wine, nuts, dried fruit and crackers. Tasting kits will be available for pick up at in the Cooking Schools (second floor) at participating stores.

Tickets for the virtual class without the tasting kit are available for $10.
