Fort Worth Conventions to Boost the Local Economy
A robust lineup of conventions in Fort Worth this summer will bring more than 25,000 visitors while boosting the local economy, promoting small business and creating job opportunities and growth.
As the nation’s 12th largest city, Fort Worth’s unique culture, world-class venues and special brand of hospitality make it a premier destination for a diverse range of conventions and events. This summer, the city is set to host a wide range of meetings and gatherings that will bring tens of thousands of visitors to experience the charm and unexpected offerings of Fort Worth.

Fort Worth consistently ranks among the Top 50 meeting destinations in the country, according to Cvent, a leading software company in the conventions industry. This year Fort Worth ranked No. 30, up from No. 35 in 2019.
Conventions and meetings scheduled in Fort Worth this June, July and August include:
- Association of Water Board Directors – Texas– June 10-16, expected attendance: 2,100
- American Towman Expo– June 18-23, expected attendance: 2,000
- Texas Association of School Boards– June 18-22, expected attendance: 1,000
- Solution Tree– June 22-24, expected attendance: 1,100
- Collect-a-Con– July 4-7, expected attendance: 4,000
- Texas Association of Builders– July 8-13, expected attendance: 2,000
- Career and Technical Association of Texas– July 12-19, expected attendance: 1,100
- Kenneth Copeland Ministries– July 26-August 4, expected attendance: 10,000
- Texas Equine Veterinary Association– July 29-August 4, expected attendance: 200
- Signal Business Group– August 10-15, expected attendance: 1,150
- Nation’s Best Sports– August 18-23, expected attendance: 1,200
These conventions are expected to bring over 25,000 visitors to Fort Worth, with more than 26,000 total room night bookings. This influx of visitors will generate over $20 million in economic impact, supporting and benefitting local restaurants, hotels and shops.
Fort Worth’s thriving convention industry is supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including the Fort Worth Convention Center downtown and Dickies Arena in the Cultural District, beautiful hotels with ample meeting space and an array of diverse attractions, world-class museums, outdoor activities, live music and entertainment.
