Skating Into the Holidays at Panther Island Ice
It’s the week of Thanksgiving break, and the kids are out of school! If they’re like most kids, they’re “bored.”
Why not take them to Panther Island Ice?
Fort Worth’s favorite skating experience has returned and is open to chase the “boreds” away, seven days a week, including holidays. AND they have extended hours during Thanksgiving break!
Or maybe you’re looking for a great date night idea? What about a couple’s skate followed by a snuggling in the car watching a double feature at Coyote Drive-In?
This is the ninth year that Fort Worthians have been able to skate their hearts out while enjoying our fabulously mild weather. If the weather does become wintery (hey, it could happen!), there are gas heaters to keep everyone warm.
Another perk of having Coyote Drive-In nearby is access to their Canteen. Forget popcorn and candy (although those are available). Think delicious burgers and tacos, pizza and wings. For adults, there are beer and wine options, too!
Because Panther Island Ice offers group discounts, it’s the perfect place to celebrate a winter birthday or bring the Scout troop or church group. While no outside food or beverages are allowed, you can bring in birthday cakes or cupcakes to make the day extra-special!
Panther Island Ice is proud to offer discounts to active-duty military, guard, reservist, veterans, and their families, sponsored by Lockheed Martin. It’s their way of saying, “Thank you for your service!”
And Tarleton State and Tarrant County College students and faculty can also enjoy discounts. What better way to shake off the end of semester stress than spending a day on the ice?
So grab the family, gather your friends, get your tickets here, and head over to one of the Fort’s favorite holiday traditions! The memories you make will be priceless!
