Book Signing by Fort Worth Ex-Pat Ann Louden, aka Kate Somerset
“When I left Fort Worth for New York City after a 24 year-marriage and thirty years at TCU, I didn’t dream I would ever date again. But then the adventures started, and they were just too good not to share. So I wrote a book under the pen name Kate Somerset.”
Author Ann Louden (also known by the pen name Kate Somerset) recently revealed that she penned the book that Fort Worth was already buzzing about. A secret for 18 months, Ann told the world on social media on Valentine’s that she is Kate.
At her first public appearance in Fort Worth, Ann is speaking and signing books on Saturday, April 29 at the TCU Hyatt Place, 3029 Sandage Avenue. Sponsored by the TCU Bookstore, the free event starts at 2:00 PM with a moderated author talk at 2:45 PM. Books are available for sale, and attendees may bring their own books to be signed. Everyone is welcome!
“In a world craving human connection,” says Jack Canfield, author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, “Ann/Kate’s book is the one you have been waiting for. In a unique telling of true one-of-a-kind dating experiences with 15 men, this isn’t just a book about dating. It’s about having a possibility mindset in life. Reading it invites a roller-coaster of emotions – laughter, surprise, delight, shock, joy and hope. No matter your own circumstance, you’ll be inspired to get out of your comfort zone, believe in yourself and embrace the future.”
Featured in the April issue of 360 West Magazine, Ann describes the challenge of leaving Fort Worth for New York six years ago. She will share that story, as well as the back stories of the book title, and the 15 men who are introduced in the book by personalized songs.
