Making an Impact for the Terminally Ill
Project 4031, a grass roots nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate support to individuals and families facing end-of-life challenges, always working to make an impact in the lives of those they serve. On November 3rd at 6:30 pm, they will host their annual IMPACT dinner at the Ashton Depot in Fort Worth.
Project 4031 wants their work to make a difference in the lives of the dying, offering relief and comfort and the gift of worry-free time to focus on what is important. For their impact to make a mark in the lives of families facing the imminent death of a family member, they must find generous donors who believe in the mission. If you believe that no one should face the end of life worried about how they will pay the bills or without hope, join Project 4031 in making a positive change in the lives of those who are often forgotten and alone by attending IMPACT 2023 event on November 3 at 6:30 at the Ashton Deport. You, too, can make your own positive Impact mark on end-of-life stories.
Project 4031 serves those throughout North Texas at the end of life in unduplicated ways. Through their Funding for Families program, they meet basic needs of the terminally ill and their families. They pay the rent, relieving the family of the concern of homelessness in a time of dying. They pay the utility bills to keep the lights on, the air conditioning running, and freshwater coming into the home. They pay for food, so families don’t go hungry because they are paying for medicine.
In addition, through their Fulfilling Dreams program, Project 4031 grants final dreams to people of all ages. The dreams at the end of life tend to be about comfort and connection. Common dream requests are for lift recliners, final birthday parties, and the opportunity to visit one last time with a loved one. Project 4031 prides itself on an easy application process and a quick turnaround between application and service. Dying people and their caregivers don’t have the patience or the stamina for a lengthy application, and the needs are pressing while time is short.
