Spring Events for Grownups at the Carter
It’s no secret that we love the Carter! Their programs for children and families are absolutely first rate, and we love talking about them. But the Carter has great programming for grownups, too! Scroll down to see what events the Carter has going for adults this spring!
Second Thursdays: Intricate & Immersive
Meet artist Leonardo Drew!
Thursday, March 14

Meet artist Leonardo Drew and add to a community sculpture during our next Second Thursday at the Carter! Leonardo Drew will talk about his artwork Number 235T, a site-specific and immersive installation that transformed the Carter’s first-floor gallery. Enjoy a craft cocktail and create your own Leonardo Drew-inspired “planet” sculpture for our community installation, which will be on view at the Carter through April 24.
Bookish: Booth
Our art lover’s book club!
Thursday, March 28

Join us in discussing Booth by Karen Joy Fowler and learn more about our John Singer Sargent portrait of Edwin Booth as well as his infamous brother, John Wilkes Booth.
