Loop is coming to downtown Fort Worth in Burnett Park and will be here through October 28th. Stop by with a friend and sit inside one of 12 cylinders and see what happens. It is free for everyone and open from 8:00am-10:00pm everyday.
Harry Potter is back at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History for the REEL Adventures: Harry Potter on October 6 beginning at 5:45. Dress in your favorite house robes, drop your name in the Goblet of Fire and enjoy Harry Potter themed activities followed by the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in the Omni theater which begins promptly at 7:35.
Archie’s Gardenland is holding their annual Scarecrow Day on October 13th from 10:00am-2:00pm. Get creative and bring an old shirt and pants and build your very own scarecrow to take home. They will provide the rest of the supplies, food trucks and fun. Only one scarecrow per family please!
FwFlavor is back! The Candyland-like, sweet new-fashioned ice cream social event will be at the Shops at Clearfork for a second time. On October 13 beginning at 5:00pm, the shops and restaurants that are participating will have frozen treats, activities for the whole family, light bites, drinks and cocktails. Get your tickets while they last!
Saturday October 13, 1:00pm-4:00pm, The Fort Worth Botanic Garden will be having a GROW Fall Festival. Explore the Backyard Veggie Garden, plant seeds, dissect pumpkins, paint pumpkins, enjoy the photo booth, story time and more. This is a free event for everyone and no registration is required.
Saturday, October 13th from 10:00am-1:00pm and Sunday October 14th from 11:00am-2:00pm during the Junior League of Fort Worth’s Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market, there will be a Cookies and Cocoa with Santa. Children can visit the North Pole Event Area for cookies, cocoa, special activities and get their pictures taken with Santa.
Arts Goggle is coming Saturday October 20th from 12:00pm-10:00pm. Head over Magnolia Ave. in the Near Southside Neighborhood and enjoy a free, family friendly event that brings live music, artistic displays of all kinds, food, drinks and fun.
October 27th beginning at 11:00am, The Shops at Clearfork will be a hosting a special Halloween Cookie Decorating Class. The kids will decorate a dozen cookies and turn them into spooky and delicious treats to take home for the whole family to enjoy.
Wondering what to do with the family this Halloween? Simply go to the Fort Worth Historic Stockyards for Treat Street on October 31st beginning at 6:00pm. They will have candy galore, costume contests, complimentary hayrides, Halloween games and trick or treating for all.
