International Trombone Festival Concert

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
The International Trombone Festival (ITF) is an annual multi-day event featuring all things trombone. Artists, teachers, students, professionals, industry leaders, and hobbyists gather to celebrate and explore the many facets and styles of trombone playing, teaching, and craftsmanship. The 2024 festival is held in collaboration with the TCU School of Music and a concert at the Modern will conclude this festival.
Justin Timberlake: The Forget Tomorrow Tour

Fans can expect to hear songs from his forthcoming new album Everything I Thought It Was, his latest single “Selfish” out now, and everyone’s favorite hits. Written by Timberlake, Louis Bell (Taylor Swift, Post Malone), Cirkut (Maroon 5, The Weeknd), Theron Thomas, Amy Allen and produced by Timberlake, Louis Bell and Cirkut, “Selfish” is the first taste of solo music from Justin since his 2018 Man of the Woods record. Justin’s sixth studio album Everything I Thought It Was is out March 15th.

Trinity Pride returns to celebrate Pride in person again in Fort Worth and with our neighboring communities. Our one-day festival will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6-10 p.m. at Magnolia Green Park, 1201 Lipscomb St, in Fort Worth’s booming Near Southside neighborhood. There will be local food trucks and an artisan vendor market by Wandering Roots. There will be LIVE MUSIC from major queer artists and bands. We will also have Nonprofit Row featuring organizations working directly in our Fort Worth Queer Community!

Ballet Concerto’s 42nd Annual Summer Dance Concert

The Shops at Clearfork
Spanish dance master Luis Montero will return to restage his Carmen, which received its worldwide debut at the 2001 SUMMER DANCE CONCERT. Other works being planned include Western Sweet with choreography by Michael Vernon, as well as Ebb and Flow by resident choreographer Elise Lavallee. Ballet Concerto engages choreographers of national and international renown and professional dancers from ballet companies throughout the United States for this concert.
FWSO Presents Night of Strings at the Garden: Baroque Chamber

Bassoon, oboe, and harpsichord join the strings for a Baroque chamber orchestra! This concert features two concerto grossi, where the melody passes between a small group of FWSO soloists as they play in an intricate dialogue with the larger group. Karl Jenkin’s Palladio calls back to this style despite being composed between 1993 and 1995, and you may recognize it from a 1993 De Beers diamond commercial. Also included in the program are Bach’s Suite No. 1 and “Air” from Suite No. 3. FREE Parking for Night of Strings at the Garden. *This is an indoor concert

Support the arts and community at SiNaCa Studios’ annual Ice Cream Social! Cool off for the summer while we cool down our furnace and empty it of molten glass to create your own one-of-a-kind glass sand casted keepsake. Select a glass bowl crafted by SiNaCa’s own local artists and enjoy ice cream! This family friendly community fundraising event in the Near Southside Arts cultural district will commence at 11am with a smash and conclude at 3pm. Stop in anytime to enjoy a scoop of ice cream and take in the sights and sounds of the final day of hot shop activity for the summer. Proceeds benefit SiNaCa Studios by servicing our furnace with needed upgrades and helping us maintain our historic building on Magnolia Avenue.

Cue the lights! Carter Society members invite you to travel back to Hollywood glamour, silver-screen sophistication, and the intoxicating jazz of the 1920s! Inspired by the exhibition Moving Pictures: Karl Struss and the Rise of Hollywood, enjoy craft cocktails, live music, and decadent hors d’oeuvres. Nineteen-twenties-inspired costumes are encouraged but not required. The costume contest winner will be voted the bees knees! Participation is optional. Midsummer Mingle is free for Carter Society members!
