Trick or Treat! It’s October’s Fun in the Fort!
Time to get some pumpkins and mums because October’s knocking on the door! That’s right, it’s time to roll out another Fun in the Fort! So, as always, get your planner and calendar ready to plan some festive fun this month.
Pumpkins Patches in and around Fort Worth:
Weston Gardens: Come to their demonstration garden to enjoy their colorful array of pumpkins on display! Hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 am -6:00 pm, Saturday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday, 12:00-5:00 pm
Mainstay Farm Park: Just short drive from Fort Worth, this old-fashioned and small-town destination has endless fall activities for you and your family that include, pumpkins, hayrides, mazes, food & drink, and live music! The fall activities run from September 24th – November 1st. Check their website for more information and to order tickets!
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden: Celebrating their 16th anniversary, Dallas Arboretum presents ‘Bugtopia’ from September 18th –October 31st. With over 90,000 pumpkins and gourds on a stunning display, enjoy meandering through the colorful village and maze. Visit their website or call 214.515.6615 to purchase tickets.

A short drive from Fort Worth and true Texan staple, Dallas once again hosts the fun-filled State Fair! Visit their website for full details and to purchase tickets.

A local artisan market and food trucks await at Mariposa Market! Enjoy approximately 25 vendors (with authentic arts and crafts), Ballet Folklorico, Pumpkin Patch and Mariachi Band Performances held in Fuller Garden Gazebo.

There will be photo ops with butterfly cut-outs and bright wooly caterpillars, and pie-sized pumpkins for sale.
Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show
October 23-24
Park, picnic, and play! The 31st Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show, a North Texas community event, will offer a hybrid air show open to the public, October 23-24. Choose to purchase tickets to park in the General Admission Parking or Premium Parking areas. Load up the chairs, picnic blanket, football and cornhole and enjoy a good ole’ fashion outdoor picnic with family and friends within your “parking pod” without having to go too far to watch the show and later pack up and go! If that doesn’t suit your fancy, add to your parking ticket upgraded seating options in the Captains’ Club sponsored by Hillwood or the new VIP Pinnacle Club.
October 29, 30 and 31
No tricks here, Boo at the Zoo is back! Enjoy treat stations, themed entertainment, animal shows and more. This festive daytime event is free with Zoo admission or membership and packed with fun for the whole family.
