Fortress

Fortress Preschool provides children ages 6 weeks-5 years with excellent full-day, year-round early childhood education.

Boasting a 4-Star rating from Texas Rising Star, Fortress emphasizes developmental milestones, social-emotional learning, and Kindergarten readiness through engaging, play-based curriculum, nature play, low teacher-student ratios, and parent engagement opportunities.

As a nonprofit organization, Fortress’s mission is “building bridges from poverty to promise”. Sixty percent of our enrollment spots are dedicated to families working hard to overcome generational cycles of poverty and trauma. Tuition for these families is supported through CCMS (the state’s child care subsidy) and our own Stability Impact Scholarships. The remaining 40% of spots are reserved for families whose full tuition helps support the scholarship program and other critical Fortress programs.
