Grapevine locals and festival attendees are invited to attend a picnic to mark Mayor Tate’s actual 50^th anniversary date.

The year of the Golden Jubilee begins with Main Street Fest and continues throughout the year with other events, to conclude May 2027.

Raise a glass to fine wine and inspiring art at the 34th Annual Spring Wine Trail presented by Park Place Lexus and Land Rover Grapevine. This cherished Springtime celebration (formerly known as the New Vintage Wineries & Galleries Trail) takes place Saturday, April 11, 2026, along Grapevine’s Historic Main Street.

The Spring Wine Trail

With a souvenir wine glass and passport in hand, you’ll embark on a self-guided journey through Grapevine’s participating winery tasting rooms and art galleries between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Along the way, enjoy tastings of the new vintage wines along with sweet and savory bites. The art galleries will have artists on hand showing off their work and make sure you’re ready for fantastic boutique shopping and dining along the way.

The Blessing of the Wines & Vines

Before the trail starts, arrive early for the Traditional Blessing of the Wines & Vines, a centuries-old European tradition beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Peace Plaza at Grapevine Main. Father Sojan George of St. Francis of Assisi Grapevine Catholic Church performs the time-honored blessing ceremony to bless the new vintage wines and vines to ensure a bountiful Texas harvest for 2026.

Take part in the Smallest Wine Parade

Gather with your friends and fellow wine lovers at the Blessing and take part in the lively Procession around Peace Plaza featuring mariachis, Bacchus and Ariadne, the St. Urbanis statue and a 100-pound cluster of grapes. A complimentary wine tasting immediately follows, along with photo opportunities beside Miss Grapevine, a 1929 Chevy grape-crushing truck. The first 100 guests will receive a blessed vine to take home.

OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS ON HISTORIC MAIN STREET 

Get ready for Grapevine’s 5th Annual Merry & Bright Christmas Drone Shows, presented by Harvest Hall, Hotel Vin and the Christmas Capital of Texas®. The ten-minute show will feature 400 drones creating Christmas magic over Historic Main Street as synchronized carols play. This enchanting event is another highlight of the season. Happening Mondays, December 1 and 8 at 7 p.m.

Don’t forget the 46^th Annual Parade of Lights. The largest lighted Christmas parade in North Texas will take place on Thursday December 4 at 7:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Storybook Parade. 

Santa’s North Pole Express® takes off Friday, November 28 at Grapevine Vintage Railroad. Just outside the platform, the Grapevine Christmas Market is an all-new shopping experience in the Historic Cotton Belt Depot District featuring great stocking stuffers and tasty treats for all.

PARKING AND STREET CLOSURE INFORMATION

There is free parking throughout Grapevine’s Historic District. Visitors are encouraged to carpool or leave the car at home and use Trinity Metro TEXRail or DART Silver Line (which connects with TEXRail at DFW Airport/Grapevine North).

In efforts to improve pedestrian safety, Historic Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from the intersection of Main Street and Northwest Highway to the intersection of Main Street and Dallas Road during the following dates and times:

• Carol of Lights | Sunday, November 23 from 1 p.m. to Monday, November 24 at midnight • Thanksgiving weekend | Friday, November 28 from 6 a.m. to Monday, December 1 at 9 p.m. (this closure will remain in place through Monday due to 5^th Annual Merry & Bright Drone Show)
• Parade of Lights | Thursday, December 4 from 1:30 p.m. to Monday, December 8 at 9 p.m. (extended through Monday for second Merry & Bright Drone Show)
• Friday, December 12 from 6 a.m. to Monday, December 15 at 6 a.m.
• Friday, December 19 from 6 a.m. to Monday, December 22 at 6 a.m.
• Friday, December 26 from 6 a.m. to Monday, December 29 at 6 a.m.
