To give everyone a chance to familiarize themselves with the groups, we’ve posted them here.

Rule 1: No Hate Speech or Bullying

EVERYONE should feel safe here. Bullying of any kind and degrading/judgmental comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity are not tolerated. ZERO tolerance – you will be removed ALL TWM groups.

Rule 2: This Is NOT a Forum to Air Your Grievances

We understand. Everyone gets angry. But those posts belong on your own page, not here. Think before you post!

Rule 3: No Hot-Button Debates or Political Posts

This rule includes vaccine debates, politics, or anything that inspires hurtful exchanges. If your post must be turned off for commenting more than once, you will be removed from ALL TWM groups.

Rule 4: No Business Bashing

If you have an issue with any business or businessperson, please do not share that information here. First, take it up with the business; next, use online reviews. ZERO tolerance – you will be removed without warning from ALL TWM groups.

Rule 5: No Promotion of Personal Businesses

No promotion of personal businesses allowed, including job postings. This includes side hustles. If you would like to work with us, please email tanglewoodmoms@gmail.com to learn about advertising options. Repeat offenders will be removed from ALL TWM groups.

Rule 6: No Promotion of Other Groups

We’ve spent over a decade building this community. We have put in countless hours to maintain the group, so in order to maintain the purpose and integrity of it, we do not allow promotions of any groups that we do not manage.

Rule 7: No Buy/Sell Posts

This group is not a buy/sell group. We run several buy/sell groups under the Tanglewood Moms umbrella, and we would love to have you join them. All buy/sell posts will be removed. This includes ticket sales of any kind. Repeat offenders will be removed from ALL TWM groups.

Rule 8: No Asking for Charity

Please do not ask our members for financial help. There are many wonderful organizations in our area that can help. This includes asking for yourself or for a friend/neighbor/acquaintance/stranger.

Rule 9: Real Estate Posting Restrictions

No realtor posts allowed. No rental posts allowed. No homes outside of the Fort Worth area are allowed. If your PERSONAL home is for SALE, you may post a link to it or pictures. Real estate agents, please email tanglewoodmoms@gmail.com to learn about advertising with us.

Rule 10: Miscellaneous Posts Not Allowed

No pets for foster, adoption, or sale; we have the “Tanglewoof Moms” group for that. No garage/estate/yard sale posts. No spam posts. If you have a question about a post, ask an admin or moderator!

There we are! There will be a week’s grace period while we all adjust, but repeat offenders will be removed starting on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Please note that repeat offenders of all rules will be removed and blocked from ALL Tanglewood Moms groups, including the buy/sell groups, so pay attention. And remember, we above all follow the Golden Rule, so do unto others as you would have them do unto you!
