Part of the way that the JEHF provides hope to those who are struggling is through their QPR training program. QPR stands for “question, persuade, and refer.” The QPR Institute, founded in 1999, states, “Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.”

The traditional QPR training offered by the JEHF is an in-person seminar. However, because we are now sheltering in place due to the spread of COVID-19, the JEHF has received permission to provide the QPR training online. Through the magic of Zoom, you can receive this life-saving training at home.

The dates are:

• April 6, 2 to 3 pm
• April 9, 6 to 7 pm
• April 14, 2 to 3 pm
• April 17, 10 to 11 am
• April 22, 12 to 1 pm
• April 28, 6 to 8 pm
