Tanglewood Moms Gives Back to End Domestic Violence
For almost 50 years, SafeHaven of Tarrant County’s mission has been simple: to end domestic violence in Tarrant County.
One in three women in Texas will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. And SafeHaven is there to take care of the most vulnerable, to keep them safe, and to serve them wherever they are on their journey to escape domestic violence.
We’re thrilled to announce that Tanglewood Moms Gives Back will be helping to support SafeHaven’s mission to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention, and social change. For years, we at Tanglewood Moms have helped to spread the word of SafeHaven’s work taking care of the most vulnerable members of our community. SafeHaven is the only state-designated family violence center in Tarrant County, and with your generosity, they can continue to keep victims safe and hold offenders accountable. Through the TanglewoodMoms.com website, social media pages, and Facebook buy/sell groups, we will be raising money for the next six months so that eventually no one in our community feels unsafe at home.
This unique partnership starts Sunday, October 1. This holiday season, while you are counting your blessings, give just a little to give someone the blessing of a life free from domestic violence. Each time you use the buy/sell groups to shop or sell, why not donate a percentage of your sale or purchase? If the women of Tanglewood Moms gave, we could make it so no one in our community need fear domestic violence.
