Welcome to Tanglewood Moms
Three and a half years ago I, along with my friend and business partner, started the Tanglewood Moms group on Facebook as a place for moms in the Tanglewood area to share our thoughts on a host of topics ranging from the best place to go for an anniversary dinner to what kinds of activities to do with our kids during the long hot summer. Soon we had requests from moms beyond Tanglewood and our little group quickly became more of a citywide rather than a neighborhood group. That’s great news! I believe in a growing and bustling community. The more moms that get involved and share, the better our Facebook community gets.
So what is TanglewoodMoms.com? To me TanglewoodMoms.com is the logical evolution of the Facebook group. For years moms across Fort Worth have been sharing and growing our group. We’ve been making suggestions to each other for places to shop, dine, explore and play. We’ve become a community within a community. So, I wanted to give the larger community, the business owners, restaurateurs, mompreneurs, and professionals of our city the opportunity to reach out to us directly and for us to provide meaningful, authentic, and local feedback to our fellow community members about these businesses.
In short, TanglewoodMoms.com is a directory of Fort Worth businesses that reviewed by us, the moms of Fort Worth. It’s also a venue for fellow mompreneurs to share their home-based businesses with us so we can all support them as they deftly juggle the roles of mom and entrepreneur.
As new businesses come on board TanglewoodMoms.com, we invite you to add to the community by telling us all about your experiences. The Tanglewood Moms Facebook group is strong because we trust, support and lean on each other. TanglewoodMoms.com gives us the ability to extend that same spirit of community to the businesses who want to be a part of what we are. By working together with local business owners we can make our entire city even more amazing than it already is.
A few weeks ago we noticed a birdnest on our back porch and we watched as a bird flew in and out, and then there was a white egg in the nest. Someone told me birds would never use a nest more than one time. This week we have seen similar activity. Yesterday there five white eggs in the nest! Does anyone know anything about such activity?
