23 Tarrant County Restaurants Support Lena Pope During Restaurant Week
Twenty-three (23) restaurants in greater Tarrant County are participating in the 2022 DFW Restaurant Week, which officially takes place August 8-14, with optional extension lasting until September 4. This year marks the 25th anniversary of DFW Restaurant Week, which is North Texas’ largest annual culinary event and the second longest-running restaurant week in the U.S. (behind New York City).
For each meal purchased at a Tarrant-area participating restaurant, 20 percent will be donated back to Fort Worth-based nonprofit Lena Pope, which provides prevention and early intervention services that support child development and improve the behavioral and mental health of children and families. With more than $2.7 million raised since 1998, DFW Restaurant Week is one of Lena Pope’s largest annual fundraisers.
This year’s participating restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe dinners for $39 or $49, with some offering two-course lunch or brunch menus for $24 or $29. In an effort to clearly communicate which Tarrant-area restaurants are participating and what menus will be offered when, Lena Pope has developed a new website landing page with easy, at-a-glance, up-to-date information.
Reservations for 2022 DFW Restaurant Week are being accepted now and can be made via OpenTable or by calling the restaurants directly. Tarrant County restaurants participating in the 2022 DFW Restaurant Week include:

“It is no secret that we’re seeing a record number of children struggling with depression and anxiety as a result of the pandemic and related factors, and our team has truly been working overtime in order to meet the ever-increasing number of families calling on us,” said Ashley Elgin, Ph.D., chief executive officer at Lena Pope. “With DFW Restaurant Week being one of our largest annual fundraisers and extremely important to our mission, we hope the community recognizes its significance, dines out, and treats the 2022 DFW Restaurant Week as an opportunity to give back and help support the hundreds of local families who desperately need our behavioral and mental health services.”
