About TICA
The International Cat Association® (TICA®) is the world’s largest genetic registry of pedigreed cats and the largest registry of household pet cats and kittens. TICA was the first and now the world’s largest registry to allow household cats of unknown ancestry to compete for the same titles and awards as pedigreed cats. The knowledgeable breeding of pedigreed cats preserves the distinct characteristics of individual pedigreed breeds and ensures the continuation of predictable physical and behavioral traits for future generations.
About Metroplex Meows Cat Club
Metroplex Meows Cat Club is a non-profit organization that promotes and sponsors the welfare of all breeds of cats, including mixed breed household pets. We do this by putting together cat shows and promoting interest in and knowledge of all domestic cats. We also have a juniors program to get kids involved in proper care and treatment of cats as well as all animals. We encourage spaying and neutering of any and all cats not specifically being used in a viable breeding program to reduce the over-population of unwanted domestic cats.
