Summertime Fun in the Fort
The homestretch of summer is here! Back-to-school activities are gearing up as well as our enthusiasm for the fall days ahead. With that in mind, we know the sweltering heat of Texas may leave us less than inspired to plan something fun, but, as always, we’re here to do the creative sourcing for you! APHA “All Day Breakaway” Roping Competition at the Cowtown Coliseum
The American Paint Horse Association’s APHA series is committed to the growth of the sport and spirit of competition, featuring hundreds of the finest riders in the region. This event begins at 9 am and is free and open to the public.
Sunday Funday at Panther Island Pavilion
August 1 – September 5
‘Sunday Funday’ is a recurring day of relaxation and fun at the Panther Island Pavilion beach. This is a perfect way to relax and keep cool for some fun in the sun! Tubes and pedal boats will be available for rent along with kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes from Backwoods Paddlesports. Cold beer and loaner ice chests are also available. Soul Saturdays – Guided Meditation at Kimbell Art Museum

Car Seats for Cowtown – 5K RACE | Cops for Kids
Fort Worth Cops for Kids is pleased to be hosting a car seat drive and 5K run/walk on Saturday August 14, 2021, at the famous Shack located at Panther Island Pavilion. Additionally, there will be food trucks, a live band, drinks, and fun family activities. They will also be accepting car seat donations which will be given to the community and stored at several Police stations so that officers can give them to families in need. The American Paint Horse Association hosts this barrel racing competition that proves there “is no speed limit on Sunday in the Stockyards.” This event begins at 9 am and is free and open to the public.

Fort Worth Burger Week
