Peace of Mind: Estate Planning Workshop
No one wants to contemplate what might happen if something were to happen to us, and for parents of young children, this is an especially discomforting thought. We all want what is best and safest for our children, but many of us simply don’t know what that might entail. Are our wills up to date? Who will get custody of the kids if anything happened to us? How will our family be provided for should the unthinkable happen? While we may think we know the answers to these questions, do we really? I know that many people simply think, “there will be time… later”. Unfortunately, later can happen at any time.
To help give you peace of mind, David Weygandt of Weygandt Law in Houston, is offering a free workshop at the Benbrook Library, Saturday October 21 at 10:30 AM to help answer these questions and more. (Mr. Weygandt does request that you register on his website prior to attending. The workshop is free, but there will be a $25 no-show charge). Attendees of the workshop will discover how to protect your children from ever being taken out of your home if the unthinkable happens to you, how to protect your children’s inheritance from lawsuits and divorce, how to have the peace of mind of knowing that your loved ones won’t have to deal with the nightmare of probate, how to legally avoid all estate taxes, and much more. This is priceless legal advice.
